Gingerbread Showdown

West End, we’ve been having a friendly disagreement with our good friends over at VanCity about just WHO has the most festive, jolly, and fun-loving team in town… and we’ve created a little competition to settle this issue for once and for all. We need your help.

It’s time for a Gingerbread House Showdown. 

If YOU think you are the most festive team in the West End – we invite you to prove it. Submit your very best Gingerbread House by 4:00 PM on December 20^th and the community might just crown you as the West End Master(s) of Merriment. We’ll be flying in our friend Frosty the Foreman from the North Pole to judge contestants in three categories: Holiday Magic, Technical Difficulty and Sugary Goodness.

The Gingerbread House Showdown is a benefit for Gordon House’s programming supporting young adults at risk, and so we suggest a donation of $250.00 to enter. Tax receipts and a handwritten thank you letter will be provided. Contestants will be featured at Gordon House and on our social media channels throughout December. Contestants will be judged LIVE to the public at our Merry Market & HoHoHoDown on December 20th and the winner(s) will receive a very special prize.
