Soup Social

Summary:

Soup Social is a weekly Thursday program where a group of volunteers get together to socialize and prepare tasty soups which will then be served at the Friday Food Hub the following day.

This previously much loved program has been on hiatus due to scheduling issues but will be back from next Thurs 11th October between 3pm-6pm and led by our very own Gordon House chef.

“Bend & Breathe” is a free (pay-what-you-can) weekly yoga class presented by Young Ideas every Tuesday from 6:30-8:00pm at Gordon Neighbourhood House.

Young Ideas Team

Summary:

The YI Initiative is a group of volunteers who organize events, activities and workshops focused on facilitating opportunities for connection of those in our community that are between the ages of 20 and 39. Young Ideas have hosted soccer at the beach meet-ups, a 90s hip-hop themed pop-up pub and drag queen bingo. The Young ideas program continues to gain momentum as the number of participants increase with each event and activity.
