A form of moving meditation, qi-gong combines slow gentle movement, breath and mental focus with guiding qi (or life energy) through the body. These simple movements strengthen and stretch the body, increase circulation of vital fluids and enhance balance. Potential benefits include stress relief, increased energy levels, improved mental clarity and pain reduction.
We are looking for a qualified volunteer to lead our weekly Qi Gong classes for older adults. These sessions take place in-person, outdoors, with social distancing rules in place for all participants. Currently these classes are taking place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10.30am and we are looking for someone to support our regular instructor in delivering these classes.
