Qi Gong Volunteer
Qi Gong is a form of moving meditation and mindfulness. We are looking for a qualified instructor to support our Qi Gong classes for seniors. Details/Apply
Seniors ‘Friendly Phone Call’ Volunteers
We are looking for committed and understanding volunteers to assist with Friendly Phone Calls to isolated West End seniors. Details/Apply
Multi-Lingual Storytime Volunteers
Currently our West End Family Place programming provides Storytime in English and Spanish, we are looking for volunteers who can help us to provide stories in additional languages. Details/Apply
Community Clean Up Volunteers
This volunteer opportunity is best suited to small ‘bubble’ groups of family or friends who are looking for outdoor activities to enjoy, or workplace groups who are looking to give back in the neighbourhood. Details/Apply
Community Advisory Board
Are you interested in developing a strategic plan for Gordon Neighbourhood House? Working with GNH to provide leadership in the local community? Ensuring that the direction of GNH is in keeping with current and future needs in Vancouver’s West End? Details/Apply
Outreach and Awareness Volunteer
Gordon Neighbourhood House coordinates many programs and initiatives in the West End. We need help promoting our organization in the community. Details/Apply
Young Ideas Team
The YI Initiative is a group of volunteers who organize events, activities and workshops focused on facilitating opportunities for connection of those in our community that are between the ages of 20 and 39. Young Ideas have hosted soccer at the beach meet-ups, a 90s hip-hop themed pop-up pub and drag queen bingo. The Young ideas program continues to gain momentum as the number of participants increase with each event and activity. Details/Apply
