Position: Yoga Instructor

Summary:
“Bend & Breathe is a free (pay-what-you-can) weekly yoga class presented by Young Ideas every Tuesday from 6:30-8:00pm at Gordon Neighbourhood House.

Unfortunately our wonderful instructor of two years is no longer able to host this weekly class, so we are looking for a new yoga teacher to replace him.

These classes had been run as a Bend & Vinyasa class are focused on mindful breathing, and are designed to be accessible for all ages. While the class is geared toward beginner and intermediate students, everyone is welcome to join.

New classes could be shaped to the volunteer teachers personal skill set and the time and date of the class could be revisited if need be.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

– Leads yoga classes in a group setting

– Plan yoga classes based on needs, ages, and ability levels

– Support participants in achieving their personal wellness goals in relation to yoga

Required Availability:
Tuesday 6:30-8pm with short notice
