Program: Yoga at Gordon Neighbourhood House

Position: On-call Yoga Instructor

Summary:
“Bend & Breathe is a free (pay-what-you-can) weekly yoga class presented by Young Ideas every Tuesday from 6:30-8:00pm at Gordon Neighbourhood House.

The class is normally hosted by our wonderful instructor Albert, who received training from Karma teachers. We are looking for on an on-call, volunteer instructor who can fill in when Albert is unavailable. The ideal candidate should be available on Tuesdays with short notice.

Bend & Vinyasa classes are focused on mindful breathing, and are designed to be accessible for all ages. While the class is geared toward beginner and intermediate students, everyone is welcome to join.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

– Leads yoga classes in a group setting

– Plan yoga classes based on needs, ages, and ability levels

– Support participants in achieving their personal wellness goals in relation to yoga

Required Availability:
Tuesday 6:30-8pm with short notice
