Summer Adventures with our Seniors!

As a part of our seniors out-trips program, we have taken our friends to John Lawson Park, Cates Park, Burnaby Village Museum, and Deep Cove! We aimed to provide seniors at GNH with fun, relaxing outings that let them take advantage of the nice weather. At John Lawson Park, we brought our own grill and cooked burgers, for a relaxing picnic by the beach. At Cates Park, we treated them to fish n’ chips from the Crab Shop. During the Burnaby Village Museum trip, the seniors got to check out the replica 1920’s village, and at Deep Cove they relaxed by the water and checked out the local shops and stalls that Deep Cove had to offer.

This August, we brought seniors to Jericho Beach for a delicious salmon burger picnic with delicious macaroni & potato salads as sides by our chef David. For the last trip of August, Thursday the 25th, we will be taking our seniors to Queens Park in New West and grilling some chicken skewers!
