Celebrating Our Wonderful Volunteers!

Home » News » Celebrating Our Wonderful Volunteers!

Last month we hosted our fall volunteer appreciation event at Mediterranean Grill on Davie. The special gathering was our way of saying thank you to the amazing volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to support our community.

From the volunteers who help cook and serve lunches, to those who support our seniors’ programs, to the dedicated team at the West End Family Place, or Community Clean-up volunteers, their contributions create meaningful change in the lives of so many.

From helping in our programs to behind-the-scenes support, volunteer contributions make a real difference. Each one of our volunteers brings their unique talents, gifts, strengths to make Gordon Neighbourhood House a vibrant and caring place, and we are endlessly grateful.

A special shoutout to everyone who joined us to celebrate—it was wonderful to see familiar faces and hear your inspiring stories. To those who couldn’t make it, please know that your impact is felt every day, and we’re so thankful for everything you do.

This year our volunteer appreciation event was generously supported by Denise Schwarz with the ION Group.
As the year winds down, it’s wonderful to celebrate the amazing power of your ongoing volunteering efforts to the people in need in our local communities. Your dedication to serve plays a crucial role in inspiring neighbours to give and truly makes a significant difference in the mental well-being of others,” remarked Denise Schwarz.
