National Truth and Reconciliation Day Community Gathering, September 2023
Join us on Saturday, September 30th 11 am – 2 pm to honour children who attended Indian Residential and Day Schools. Together we will reflect on how to build a better society.
Squamish Nation Artist John Spence will be working on a ḵ’aḵn (House Post) and preparing sḵ’ey̓ (smoked fish).
There will be speakers, drummers, Indigenous artists/makers selling their work and elk stew for lunch. Everyone is welcome.
