Gordon Neighbourhood House has been providing quality child care in Vancouver’s West End for over 50 years. We create safe, healthy and creative spaces where children can build meaningful friendships, build confidence and have lots of FUN!
Current Programs
Licensed Before-Care & Breakfast Program
We are pleased to provide licensed before-care to children attending Lord Roberts Elementary and Annex schools. Our experienced staff plan a range of age appropriate activities, share a nutritious meal and drop children off at their respective schools.

7:30-9 AM at Gordon Neighborhood House
Eligibility
Available to all Lord Roberts Elementary students aged 5-12.

Licensed After-Care
Our fun and experienced staff will pick your child up daily after school from Lord Roberts Elementary and Lord Roberts Annex and engage the whole group in a wide variety of activities at Gordon Neighbourhood House at our licensed after care. Subsidies for this program are available from the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Please discuss with our staff for more details.

Spring Break Camp
We’re here for Spring Break! Our fabulous camp leaders plan exciting, immersive week-long programs for youth with a big emphasis on getting outside.

Aligned with local school year Spring Break dates.
Eligibility
All children aged 5-12 welcome. Children in our childcare program may receive priority.

Summer Camp
Our energetic, experienced and responsible camp leaders will ensure that your child’s day camp experience is a memorable one. We have created a program that you won’t want to miss! Each week includes a regular theme, daily out-trips with cooperative games, sports, arts/crafts, and skill development activities. Many outdoor activities will give campers the opportunity to experience some of the Lower Mainland’s natural beauty.
