Do you have a project idea that will connect neighbours and make a positive impact in our community? Apply for a Neighbourhood Small Grant up to $500!

Online applications are now open until all funds are dispersed. Gordon Neighbourhood House will be awarding approximately 80 grants to neighbours just like you. A grant means that money can go towards project costs like food, supplies, and promotions, and doesn’t need to be repaid.

No skills or experience are required, and everyone is encouraged to apply whether you are a long-time resident, or new to the neighbourhood. Projects must be free to attend, and open to neighbours to attend.

Past projects have included boulevard gardens, cooking demonstrations, chess clubs, bingo parties, apartment building social events, community drag shows, arts and craft workshop, bike repair clinics, poetry performances, and book clubs. The options are almost endless.

Project leaders often share that they meet neighbours, make friends, have fun, and gain new skills.

Apply today, and make a positive difference in our neighbourhood!
