Spring 2022 COVID-19 Update

Welcome back! We are pleased to share that Gordon Neighbourhood House will be resuming all in-person programming through the late spring of 2022.

Health, safety and the comfort of participants will remain our highest priority. We will continue to maintain a communicable disease plan and common-sense protocols that help keep everyone safe. This includes a mandatory mask policy in shared areas of the building, capacity limits on program rooms, and increased ventilation in all areas. Participants are asked to self monitor for symptoms and stay home if sick.

We have heard from our participants that online programming can be a valuable way of keeping everyone connected to their community. We will continue to maintain online and hybrid programming options for those interested. When weather permits, we also intend to continue programming at plazas, parks and beaches around the West End (because it’s fun!).

When you return to Gordon Neighbourhood House, you may notice some changes. In 2020, we made the difficult decision to close both Attic Thrift Stores. More about our decision can be read here.

In addition, we have modified the hours that the House is available to walk-in traffic. These hours will increase as we resume normal operations. Up to date hours can be found here.

We know the West End is excited to see us resuming normal operations, and we are excited to see our community soon. We thank you for your patience as we resume operations and look forward to seeing you at the House soon!
